3. Ask the school about certifying official processes. Schools that accept VA education benefits have a certifying official who reports your enrollment to the VA. Ask directly how that process works and what paperwork is needed on the school side.
4. Understand your program's format matters. Benefit calculations can differ for full-time versus part-time programs, and for in-person versus online delivery. Confirm how our RDA program's schedule and format apply to your specific benefit before enrolling.

Other funding often stacks alongside veterans benefits

Veterans benefits aren't the only funding path we see students use. It's worth exploring more than one option rather than assuming it has to be all-or-nothing.

Questions worth asking before you commit

Before enrolling anywhere on veterans benefits, it's reasonable to ask: How long does certification typically take? What happens if my benefit doesn't cover the full cost — is there a payment plan for the difference? Is the program state-approved in a way that satisfies my specific benefit's requirements? A school that can't answer these clearly and quickly is not one you want handling your paperwork.
