Premier Dental Academy isn't a national chain. We're one school, in Longview, focused entirely on getting our students hired at offices we know personally.
From the founder
Why I started Premier Dental Academy.
I've spent 7+ years in East Texas dental practices — chairside, in the front office, and everywhere in between. In every office I worked, I watched new dental assistants struggle on day one — not because they didn't know the dentistry, but because they didn't know the software, the workflow, the rhythm of a real practice.
The schools sent them with textbook knowledge and zero practice. The offices then spent weeks training them on EagleSoft, Dentrix, charting systems, and insurance — time the office couldn't afford and the new hire felt terrible about.
I knew there had to be a better way. So in 2024 I started Premier Dental Academy of Longview with one mission: build a school where every graduate walks into their first office already fluent.
That's why we built our own practice management trainers from scratch — Practice Pro and ChairSide. That's why our curriculum focuses on real workflows. That's why we partner with East Texas dental offices directly so our students go from graduation to working in days, not months.

What we believe
Our values are simple.
Practice over theory
Books and videos teach you what a tooth chart is. We make you mark caries on 25 patients before lunch. Hands-on or it doesn't count.
Hire-day ready
Success isn't graduation. Success is sitting confidently at the front desk on your first day. Every module we teach maps to that morning.
Local, by design
We know the offices in Longview, Tyler, Marshall, Kilgore. We know the dentists. When we vouch for a graduate, they get the interview.
What we built
Two trainers no other school has.
We didn't license a generic LMS. We built our own software from the ground up because nothing else taught the way we wanted to teach.
